Countries Where This Policy Applies
This return policy applies to all orders delivered within Kenya. Orders shipped internationally (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and other East African countries) are subject to the same policy unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Return shipping for international orders is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a defect, wrong item, or our error.

Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. Requests made after 30 days will not be accepted.
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- The item delivered is defective or not functioning correctly
- The wrong product was delivered
- The product received significantly differs from its description on our website
- The product arrives visibly damaged before delivery is completed
- Change of mind / buyer’s remorse โ you may return an item within 30 days even if you simply changed your mind, provided the product is unused, in its original packaging, and all accessories are included
To qualify, the item must be in its original condition with all accessories, chargers, manuals, and original packaging included. All returns are subject to inspection and approval.
Non-Eligible Returns
The following are not eligible for return regardless of when they are requested:
- Physical damage caused after delivery (drops, cracks, broken screens)
- Liquid spills, power surge damage, or damage from misuse
- Software issues installed or caused by the customer after delivery
- Products returned outside the 30-day return window
- Items returned without original packaging or with missing accessories (unless the missing item was not included at delivery)
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications
How to Initiate a Return
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery via phone (+254 712 717 717) or email (info@laptopdiscounts.co.ke). Include your order number and the reason for the return.
- Our team will review your request and respond within 1 business day with approval or further instructions.
- Once approved, pack the item securely in its original packaging with all accessories and deliver or arrange courier to: Giant Mark Mall, Nairobi, Kenya. If the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect, we will arrange and cover the collection.
- Upon receipt, the item will be inspected within 1โ2 business days. You will be notified of the outcome and next steps.
Exchanges
- Eligible products may be exchanged for the same product (subject to stock availability) or a product of similar value.
- Exchanges are processed after inspection and approval of the returned item.
- If the replacement item costs more, you will be required to pay the price difference. If it costs less, the balance will be refunded to your original payment method or as store credit.
Refunds
Refunds are initiated within 1โ2 business days of approval and fully settled within 3โ5 business days depending on the payment method.
Defective, wrong, or damaged items: Full refund to your original payment method (M-Pesa or bank transfer) or an exchange โ your choice.
Change of mind returns: Refund issued to your original payment method or as store credit, minus return shipping costs if applicable. No restocking fee.

Return Shipping Costs
- Laptop Discounts Kenya covers return shipping when the return is due to a verified defect, wrong item, or an error on our part.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping when the return is due to a change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
- For Nairobi-based customers, you may drop off items directly at Giant Mark Mall at no shipping cost.
Warranty
Most products include a limited manufacturer’s warranty. The specific duration (e.g., 6 months, 1 year) is stated on each product listing page โ please confirm before purchase.
Warranty covers:
- Hardware faults not caused by customer misuse
Warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage
- Liquid damage
- Power surge damage
- Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications
Warranty claims raised within the 30-day return window are handled as returns. Claims outside the return window are handled directly with the manufacturer or our service team.
